Arhatic Yoga
Sprituality
Arhatic Yoga is a spiritual system developed by Master Choa Kok Sui to safely and rapidly accelerate the evolution of the soul. 'Arhatic Yoga' comes from two words 'Arhat', meaning saint or a highly evolved person, and 'Yoga', which in Sanskrit means union. 'Arhat' is basically a person who through diligent practice and character building has overcome his lower nature. Some of the characteristics of an Arhat include, a developed intuition, sharp and intelligent mind, refined emotions and powerful will to help mankind. Arhatic Yoga often known as the yoga of synthesis, combines several yogic practices such as Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Raja Yoga into one single practice, which involves purifications and meditations. According to Master Choa Kok Sui, purification is more important than meditation. Without purification if a person starts meditating, there is a tendency for the weaknesses to magnify, making the person worse instead of a better person. Despite having a Sanskrit name, Arhatic Yoga is no-religion and non-sectarian and practitioners from various cultures and backgrounds can practice Arhatic Yoga.
